I’m Lindsay, owner of Bowerman Artistry & Training Academy. Alongside my husband Jordan, we serve clients, train artists, and speak across the U.S. Our specialty is Mastering Mature Skin, and while we love working with all skin types, this area has become our signature.
We’re parents to three amazing kids whom we homeschool. My background in Graphic Design and Visual Art gives me an eye for color, symmetry, and detail, which has shaped my work in permanent makeup from the very beginning.
I entered the beauty industry in 2012 and was the first to introduce microblading to the Michiana area in 2016. Since then, I’ve trained nationwide, spoken at conferences, and continued learning from top artists so clients and students always receive the very best.
I love helping people feel beautiful and confident. That’s the heartbeat of everything we do.

I’m Jordan, Lindsay’s husband and co-owner of Bowerman Artistry & Training Academy. Most people don’t expect a guy to be in permanent makeup, and at 6’7”, I’m usually the last person they imagine behind a brow table. But my path here has been anything but ordinary.
I grew up in sports and played basketball on a scholarship to Bethel College, where Lindsay and I first met. After we married in 2014, I tried different careers, but none aligned with the family-centered life I wanted. As Lindsay’s permanent makeup business grew, she prayed for clarity about her next step and eventually began praying that I would join her. I didn’t see it at first, but God changed my heart, and stepping into this industry became one of the biggest blessings of my life. Now we work side by side, raising our three kids and building a client focused business rooted in purpose and gratitude.

Dr. Smith brings over 20 years of medical expertise to the Bowerman Artistry team as our Medical Director, ensuring the highest standards of safety, care, and professionalism across all advanced procedures.
A graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. Smith has built his career around helping individuals look and feel their best inside and out. Based in Crown Point, Indiana, he is affiliated with Franciscan Health Crown Point and Memorial Hospital of South Bend, where he has earned a reputation for compassionate care and excellence in family medicine.
At Bowerman Artistry, Dr. Smith provides medical oversight and guidance for treatments that require clinical precision, supporting our team as we deliver transformative beauty and wellness services. His deep understanding of health, skin physiology, and patient safety helps ensure every service is performed with confidence and integrity.
Outside of the clinical setting, Dr. Smith is known for his calm, caring nature and his genuine dedication to patient well-being. His partnership with our studio allows us to combine artistry with advanced medical care, creating results that are both safe and beautifully natural.

Hey, my name is Joy, and I’m the Communication Assistant here at Bowerman Artistry. If you’re emailing, texting, or calling us, chances are I’m the one you’re chatting with! Along with connecting with our amazing clients, I also get to use my passion for marketing and design to support Bowerman’s creative vision. I absolutely love being part of such a talented team and helping make every client’s experience feel special!
A little about me: I was born and raised in Texas, where I spent most of my life before moving to Indiana to attend Grace College and Theological Seminary. Before college, I launched my own small business making handmade earrings, growing it to a following of over 16k and gaining valuable experience in branding, design, and client connection.
At Grace, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Design with an emphasis in Graphic Design and a minor in Photography. I graduated in just 2.5 years summa cum laude while balancing three jobs: working as a graphic designer for the marketing team, serving as a media specialist for the School of Arts & Humanities, and doing freelance design jobs.
Shortly after graduating, my husband (fun fact: we met at Grace College because we shared the exact same major and minor!) and I moved to the Elkhart area, where I discovered Bowerman Artistry. From the moment I learned about this incredible team, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. I joined in June and immediately fell in love with the opportunity to serve and support everyone who walks through our doors!
It’s truly a joy (pun intended!) to be here, and I’m so grateful to be part of your journey with us!

Hey! I’m Tatiana, my friends and family call me Tati for short. I was born and raised in Goshen, Indiana. I like taking on many new hobbies but my go to is and always will be is painting. I’m totally not artistic either, I could never match Picasso but thats what makes it fun! And of course we cannot forget to put on a Disney movie in the background! I love traveling, my whole life I’ve always traveled and as a young adult I’ve been able to continue that. I still have few states to knock off my bucket list but the goal is all 50 states! Then who knows, maybe the rest of the world.
I went to Northwood High school and graduated in 2017. Like a good handful of us in the world, I had no idea what I was going to do after graduation. I took a year break after graduating, worked part time in retail and thought hmmm, the world is all about business, business administration degree it is.… it was not for me. I still struggled on what my passion was but during the meantime I love working my retail job. I loved the customer service part of it, I loved being able to help people make their shopping experience great and I mean…..what girl isn’t gonna love shopping plus discounts. Where do I sign???
As much as I loved retail I needed to keep searching for my passion. I went from retail store, to factory, to CSR, sales and marketing rep, bank teller, back to retail, back to factory and it just wasn’t working out for me.
Finally I decided to take an eyelash extension course and I just was amazed. Something had just clicked so I became certified, and have been doing lashes on and off while working in a factory. I wanted to try and make a career from it but just didn’t know how. To be entirely honest, I didn’t know the extend of the beauty world. I only knew about hair and nails and neither ever intrigued me. Then I learned about the Esthetics world and just how much there is and I thought hey, let me give it a try and just see. Of course I had to put into consideration how much time and money I was investing so I did just that. I quit my factory job and decided I want to go back to school full time and see what happens.

Hi! I'm Stephanie. I am a Michigan native, and I graduated from The Skin Institute in St Louis Missouri in 2012. I've actually always wanted to be a Dental hygienist, but as the mother of three young children I thought school would be too much. Instead, while working in an Optometrist's office in Mishawaka I decided to get my degree in Medical Assisting. I was grateful for the knowledge but I didn't feel passionate about it so I stayed home with my children. Once they grew up I went back to school for Dental hygiene but as many of us do, I found my husband online! Shortly after moving to St. Louis and while deciding where to continue Dental hygiene classes I came across an Esthetics school, had my first facial and knew I was on the right path.
After graduation I spent five years as as Lead Esthetician and laser technician in a Med Spa then later became the Owner/Operator of Stephesthetics, a five star business in St. Louis, MO. I specialized in anti-aging and acne treatments and full body/facial/brow waxing. I also hold many certifications. My passion continues to be mature skin, microneedling and manual face lifting massage, but love treating every kind of skin!
I recently moved back to the area to be closer to family where I am am other of three, grandmother of five, and cat mom to Lucy and Lyla. I love reading; the more suspenseful the better! I also enjoy wine tasting and spending time outside; particularly the beach and I am on a mission to visit every one of Lake Michigan beaches with that guy who drew me to St. Louis, now my husband of 15 years.
