​Our saline tattoo removal process is an all natural method of removing pigment under the skin. The saline solution is applied in the skin the same way that the pigment from your tattoo was originally applied. The saline packs in under the skin and forms a scab over the pigment upon healing. During the healing process the saline is working to pull the pigment to the surface of the skin. When the scab falls off, the pigment from under the skin goes with it.

There are MANY differences.
Primary differences are:
- With laser, the pigment is broken up and absorbed into your body. Most pigments have metals in them, you do not want that absorbed into your body where it likely will never leave your body.
- Each laser machine only emits certain wavelengths of light, which means that certain machines can only break up certain colors of ink. For example, laser is unable to remove white because when an object appears white, it is reflecting the entire spectrum of visible wavelengths of light and not absorbing light. This means you cannot target it with a laser. Other colors cannot be picked up with a laser as well.
- Saline picks up and removes ALL color.
​​- When working with saline and eyebrows, your brow hair will remain intact. Laser tattoo removal can and likely will remove the hair on your brows and it may or may not ever grow back.

No, we apply a topical numbing cream to keep you comfortable. Although most of our clients remain numb, depending on the area, some areas may hurt.​ Most eyebrow clients say that the tail of the eyebrow are fairly comfortable, the intensity can increase as we get closer to the nose on both sides. For conventional tattoos, most clients say it is less pain than when the initial tattoo went in.

How many sessions it takes depends on how deep the pigment is, how saturated it is, how long the pigment has been in the skin, the type of pigment, the client's aftercare. AFTER CARE is HUGE and can not be stressed enough. Sometimes it's all gone in 1 session, sometimes it takes 4+ sessions. It depends on your end goal. If you just want your tattoo lightened, it may take only 1 session, if you want it completely removed, it will take more.

We require three sessions because most clients do not understand that this is a process. While we understand that clients want the tattoo gone or almost gone after the first session, getting ink out of the skin safely is a process when going into the dermal layer to remove ink. Removing something that was placed in the skin with the intention of permanency, requires patience. We do our best to educate our clients so that they understand that this will take time. Most of our clients see visible results after 2-3 sessions.

Possibly, we can only work in an inch by inch area to protect you from infection. We are going over the same area multiple times which creates a larger “wound” then when you received your tattoo. As we mentioned, a scab will form. If we see that you are properly caring for the tattoo, we may be able to cover a larger area. If you are having your eyebrows removed, we can cover/remove both eyebrows each session.

To protect your skin from scarring, we wait at least 6 weeks in between sessions for the SAME area. For our more mature clients it will probably be closer to 8 weeks in between sessions. If we are working on another area of your tattoo, we can see you in again as early as 5-10 days.
